Watching For Trends Part Trois

What can I say… I definitely took advantage of the holiday break with family and didn’t blog! But I am back in action and have one last watch styling based on a find from Invaluable.com Women’s Watches!

My challenge to my readers is to create a look from a watch from Invaluable.com! I have LOVED this challenge and it has let me create some looks I wouldn’t normally put together because my pieces are different!

Watching for Trends Part deux

Since I had such a hard time styling just one watch I decided to make it into a series! Just a reminder I found the watches featured in this series on invaluable.com’s women’s watch page! I wanted another fall look with lots of fun color and texture and this is what I put together.

Again, I wanted to find the pieces to enhance the watch all at one store and I did that today with Target!

Watching for Trends

A watch is a timeless statement piece.  A great place to find a great statement for a great deal is from invaluable.com.  From their About Us tab on their website, “Invaluable (formerly Artfact) is the world’s largest online auction marketplace of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles, and estate sales.”

The watch below from invaluable.com’s women’s watch page caught my eye and I knew I needed to style it…. but I will say I had a hard time just choosing one! I wanted a bright Fall look with lots of patten and textures.  I also wanted to stick with one major store if possible and I almost did it!  However, to find the perfect scarf to compliment the outfit I ventured to the always go-to Target! Shout out to Ann Taylor for having so many great Fall/Winter looks to choose from!

This outfit works both for work and a night out for drinks! I think ALL of these pieces could also really work into an already existing wardrobe to help keep things fresh and fun… especially the watch.

Tuesday Shoesday

I LOVE shoes.  Simple as that.  Here is a post of some of my favorite shoes… some I own… some I am eyeing to purchase.

To start things off is one AWESOME accent color shoe! SO bold yet classy!

Bergdorf Goodman: Christian Louboutin- Blue Kohl

The classes pump! This is my favorite go to look!

Bergdorf Goodman: Christian Louboutin- Black

I am absolutely loving the loafer look! I have a similar pair of these gold loafers/drivers and they are EXTREMELY comfy! I love pairing loafers with something “girly” like a sparkly or leopard print skinny belt!  SO cute and helps balance if you are wanting a more feminine look!

Cole Haan: Grant Driver

driver

For a more affordable shoe I love these flats! They come in many colors/patters and stand a lot of wear and tear!

Target: Emma Flat

For the winter weather these boots are AWESOME! And they come in cognac and black! Pair well with most outfits and have a little heel to give you a more slimming look!

What about Fitness you ask?  Well I love shoes that get me amped! So these my be crazy but I love them! AND they would pair perfectly with the LuluLemon pants featured in this post.

Valentine’s Day Purchase List

Well, well, well, January came and went faster than ever! I can’t believe it is almost Valentine’s Day!  I don’t know about you but I am not a fan of [or good at] being overly romanic.  Valentine’s day always seems extra hard to me because Christmas and my husbands birthday happen 9 days apart and I feel like that I never think to save a gift for Valentines so then I am left to scramble!  So here goes a “Top 5” list.  Most of these are classic items that you can “put in your back pocket” for any event that may arise.

Also, while I am at it… I figure I’ll make a top ten classic “For Her” list!  I tried to do a range of prices so there is something most everyone can afford! If all else fails a home cooked meal date and a red box movie is a WONDERFUL go to Valentine’s Day idea!
