Thanks to Disney World for gifting me a day of tickets to venture around the park.
If you would have asked me about taking a two year old to Disney a year ago I wold have laughed at you. But I can tell you Tripp (and all of us) had a blast. In an upcoming post(s) I will talk about traveling with a toddler tips and what its like to travel while pregnant!
We stayed at The Grand Floridian and it was AMAZING. Their property is top notch with lots of activities for kids and good choices of places to eat.
Tripp loved the “beach” area they had! It was near a pool and a splash area too which he LOVED. This was such a fun little perk of staying at this park. We also had awesome views of the fireworks from Disney!
Tripp absolutely loved riding the rides and see all the sites. I was worried he wouldn’t be super into the rides but he laughed looked around and never cried! The only time we had to really work with him was if we had wait times in line… which wasn’t ever a long period because we used fast passes and timed when to go to other rides based on what the Disney App told us… SO HELPFUL!
**Please ignore my cheesy mom voice.
Of course this pregnancy lady NEEDED a dole whip. It was AMAZING and you can actually order ahead through the app and miss the line. This is SO helpful during “heavy” food traffic time.
Disney makes everything so easy with their app. We signed up for fast passes (which by the way made meeting characters SO much easier) and all the ride photos/attraction photos go right there in your app! I also loved the map and locator feature so we could see how to get places the fastest and where we were.
Thanks again to Disney for an amazing time! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Y’all know I love a good diaper bag backpack and as a working mom I always want one with dual functions. One of the features I have been looking for is a bag that has a separate laptop pocket. I am always on the go with my laptop since I “work from home”. This diaper bag is the perfect combo because it has the perfect amount of space for my work and personal items with plenty of room to spare for items for my toddler (and soon to be newborn baby). Thanks to Petunia Pickle Bottom for gifting me this awesome Pathway Pack.
Another bonus of this bag is that it is coated canvas. I love the canvas look but it isn’t duper durable however, this coating is stain resistant and helps keep the fabric from snagging. This bag also has several color options to fit every personality. I really loved this classic black and white because I felt it would go so well with my wardrobe.
Some of the other features I am loving are the roomy interior with 2 open pockets and 1 snap-close laptop pocket and the exterior pockets, detachable cross body strap… give me ALL the pockets so we can stay organized!
Seriously, this diaper bag is the working moms dream because you can easily separate all of your kids items from your personal work items with plenty of extra space. The pocket system keeps you organized and makes for easy transfer if you need to just grab your items out so you can drop the kiddo off! This diaper bag can work so perfectly for both the working mom and the SAHM!

Hi everyone! I don’t know about you but Amazon is one of the best things to come into my life. We are so lucky to have so many items to choose from at just the click of a button.
I also love that you can make wish lists for different occasions so when you think of something you can add it there in the moment… because I definitely have mom brain and if I don’t do it then I will never remember what my idea was!
One of my favorite features is that influencers can make a public list to share with their tribes. So today I wanted to share with you what is on my wish list. It is an array of items for my family, myself and my house.
I love when I see gift ideas for others I can just add them to my list automatically and that helps me price check too! I also love that so many products have reviews right there so if it is on the cheaper side (especially clothes) you can really see how they may fit or the quality!
Check out whats on my list and let me know what you have to order too!

Getting Organized: DIY magnetic calendar and menu planner
by guest blogger Jennifer Wise
In my line of work, I talk to a lot of people about their pictures. When we talk about preserving them, there are usually two big obstacles to get over first: organizing them and setting aside time for them. So although I’m really in the memory-keeping business, these days I find I spend a fair amount of time reading about, developing, and sharing time management tips! (In fact, I’ve started a great little collection of them at this link!)
Besides, I am kind of an organization freak myself, so I always have new ideas and tricks swimming around in the back of my mind about how to be more productive and use my time more wisely. I’m really excited to share one of my favorites with you today.
I’m absolutely thrilled to be a guest blogger with Gabbing Ginger once again so that I can share with you a really fun, creative DIY project that will help you manage either your calendar or your menu a little better—or both! Couldn’t we all use a little extra help there??
I’m going to show you how to make a 12×18 “car magnet” into a family calendar and/or a menu planner for your fridge! Yep, really! The surface of these particular car magnets makes them writable with a dry erase marker. So that means that we can get clever with them—we can turn them into calendars and planners (and more)!
“A man who dares waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.” – Charles Darwin
I don’t know about you, but we are always running every which way, so coordination within our family is an absolute must. Who is driving him to basketball practice, and what time do we all need to be at her awards ceremony? I keep my own calendar, of course, but having one for the whole family in one central place is a huge help!
One thing that can really help with time management is meal planning. Planning meals out ahead of time has several benefits! First, you usually eat healthier rather than just stopping for fast food or chowing down on whatever’s convenient. Second, you can save huge amounts of time by consolidating your shopping trips. If you have things planned out for the week, you can get by with just going to the store once (or maybe twice) a week instead of several small trips here and there that always add up to more time than we really think. Meal planning and shopping trip consolidation are a HUGE time-saver! I love this magnetic meal planner.

I’m going to show you how to make a family calendar today, but the same technique can be used for a menu planner. It could be used for a personal daily planner, too!
Some of the best advice I’ve ever gotten about time is that if something takes longer than 15 minutes, it should be on your calendar. So even little things like sitting down to pay bills should be an agenda item. For me, when I don’t include those “little” things on my daily to-do list, I feel like I’m overscheduled and overrun because I’m filling my day with all these “little” things that I didn’t make time for, but I only feel like I’ve truly accomplished the ones I can cross off. I really like this daily agenda magnet for that very purpose.
I’ve even used these car magnets for a vision board! Then I don’t have to make a new one every year—I can just erase. So lovely on my file cabinet!
NOTE: I’ve found that the surface of the car magnets are best cleaned with a spray cleaner specifically for a dry-erase board, especially if you’ve left the dry-erase marker on the magnet for longer than a day or two.
So you’re probably thinking, “How on earth do I make a magnet?” The good news is that you don’t have to have access to magnets of any kind! This project only requires a computer! You actually just create the design digitally online (or use a template), then the magnet is printed up for you and shipped to your door in about 7-10 days.
Magnets like this are obviously great for both personal and family organization and planning, but they do make great gifts as well. They are 12”x18”, as I mentioned, and run about $30 (plus shipping).
And guess what! I’ve made a special video just for Gabbing Ginger readers that walks you through the DIY portion of these magnets (the digitally creating part)! Once you hit the “publish” button all you do is wait for the UPS guy. It’s DIY without shopping trips or a mess– only your computer!
One other thing I love is that each magnet is going to be your own personal style. If you like flowers, you can add (digital) flowers to it. If your kitchen is red, make your magnet red. If you like a clean & classic look, go for it. If you want it to look like a scrapbook page, go for it. You can even add a family picture like I did on our family calendar! (The surface of the car magnet won’t give you a crisp photo, but they’re pretty cute nonetheless.) You’ll have tons of available creative tools, so your magnet will be exactly what you’re looking for.
I’ll show you how! Let’s go:
Organizing your goals, your day, your family’s week, or your meals right there in plain view puts them in the forefront of your mind. In some cases, it makes them more of a team effort, too. And with these completely personal magnets, it makes them more fun, more beautiful, and more YOU!

As I sit down to write this post I just can’t get over that Tripp is almost 20 months old. He is a talking machine, a runner and full of life. He eats ALL the food, ALL the time and he is getting cuter by the day which I don’t even know how that is possible.
He loves to keep me on my toes and he is learning how to play by himself… which is amazing for this work at home mama. Tripp loves to play catch and He is a wiz at puzzles.
Which leads me to this….I get asked all the time what are some of Tripp’s Favorite Toys are so I wanted to put together a quick toy list. Most of these are smaller items but I wanted to show off the best item first… Tripp is a little over a year and a half right not so he loves A LOT of things but we really have fallen in love with Melissa and Doug toys! They don’t feel cheap and they are durable!
This Jeep has a remote for the parents to use and Tripp is OBSESSED with it!
This year I decided not to really do gift guides since there are so many out there. However, if you follow me on Instagram you know I have been throwing ideas out here and there.
Well I came across another cool gift that I wanted to share with you all. This is a plush duck [comes as a bunny too] that is also has a hot and cold therapy feature! The pouch is even infused with the calming scent of natural chamomile and lavender amidst eco-friendly mineral micro beads. I also love the portable size.
We have has quite the last few weeks with sickness in our house (our first ear infections happened) and this little duck has been one of Tripp’s favorite things to love on!
This toy makes as a great soother and playmate and you can buy it here.

If you have read my Facts About Me post you know that I am a true red head! November 5th is National Love your Red Hair Day and because of that I’ve partnered with Meg over at Gingy Love and we are chatting about our experiences with being red headed.
Growing up I hated my hair. I think it was mostly because it brought attention to me when I just wanted to “blend in”. In high school I started highlighting my hair blonde and by college you could hardly tell I even had red hair.
As I have grown older and gotten used to the skin I am in I have learned to embrace my hair for the unique quality it has. I not longer color it and I am not embarrassed when people compliment it. I actually enjoy when people say something nice about it! I have learned to love when people call me a ginger… I mean my blog is named after it even!
As a women we are so self critical of our bodies and appearance and I love that I can finally start to feel confident in my skin and proudly say I LOVE my red hair. Growing up it wasn’t easy but now I realize that so many people struggle with different parts of themselves everyday and that we should all try to LOVE how different we all really are.
Also, can I just say we need a RED HEAD emoji like yesterday?!?!
If you are red headed or love someone red headed give them a big ole hug today and say I love you AND your red hair!
How is it possible that July is almost here!?! I LOVE fireworks [not setting them off myself though #whimpforlife]! I am ready for the holiday “weekend” and to enjoy a few brews and watch Tripp hopefully enjoy some fireworks! These are some of my favorite items for the holiday and guess what… all from Amazon because #momlife. Another plus?! Every piece is UNDER $25!!!
