Oklahoma has crazy weather so you always need to be ready! One of my favorite things is a sweatshirt blanket! I love it because it is like a hoodie for your body! I love this one from Rally House. It comes in so many choices so you can most likely find your favorite team!
When the months get a little cooler and you need something to keep you warm this little beauty does the trick!
It is easy to pack and it works great! This is where you will find me if it is chilly outside! This is the BEST thing for tailgating during chilly games! LOVE Camp Fire in a Can!
What a whirlwind of a weekend! Bachlorette weekend has come and gone and it was a blast! Fredericksburg, Texas is a fun, and friendly little town! It was so PERFECT for a girls weekend and we had one HILL of a time! Loved the weekend saying…. Brides new last name is going to be Hill AND we were in HILL country… HOW GREAT!
We rented a house right off main called Abendlied! It was so great because when we got in Friday we all enjoyed drinks, dinner and girl time on the porch!
On Saturday we had a home cooked breakfast and then got ready for a day of wine tours!
Texas Wine Tours was who we went through and it was great! They pick you up [and you can drink on the bus]! We had three wineries to go to:
Tourre Di Pietra– First stop and didn’t know what to expect! It was very “Tuscany”. Bonus for cat lovers is that they had cats there. Downfall, I am allergic! But we enjoyed sitting outside here and the cats didn’t come near me so I was good to go!
Beck Vineyards– This was such an amazing winery! Great outdoor space and VERY yummy wine! We enjoyed lunch on their GIGANTIC patio!
William and Chris– This was such a cute winery. They had great history and stories on their wine [and wine labels]. They were very knowledgeable and fun!
After the wine tours we headed back to change for dinner!
It was such a great weekend and we had some fun and interesting stops along out drive there and back… heck we even saw the Wolds Biggest Cedar Rocking Chair!
One of the selling features of our new house is a wrap around front porch! Part of it is a little sectioned off piece you can only access from the master bedroom. Well we had been given some metal chairs from Marks parents and just had them sitting out there.
We debated about painting them and then decided just to take a look at Garden Ridge [soon to be called At Home].
Well we ended up finding EVERYTHING [minus chairs and flowers] there for about $120 [with coupon]!
What was purchased:
Lantern candle holder
Wall floral holder
I would call this a great bargain redesign! Perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks!
