It has been awhile since I have done an Empties post but I have quite a few items to talk about! Y’all know I am trying to be better about using up product before buying more and I think I am still doing really well with that! See below for everything I used up and what I thought!

IMG_4090

Dunkin Donuts K Cups: This yummy coffee is one of my go to flavors.  I especially love mixing it with my Vital Proteins.

Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner: I really like these products but I have pretty easy hair to manage (minus that it is curly/wavy/straight all at once + postpartum hair loss is real) but I don’t process my hair so it stays pretty healthy.

Alba Cleanser: I really love this cleanser.  I have acne prone skin and I really felt it got a good amount of the makeup and grime off my face and help prevent blemishes.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo:  This stuff is AMAZING but it is pricy.  I have found Batiste also works really well for a much cheaper price too!

Velvet Matte: This is a major DUPE for my Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation and I love it for my everyday wear! It has amazing coverage.

Fendi Perfume: I have had this for a couple years now and love the scent of it.  It has of smells citrus, floral and black currant. SO YUMMY!

Great Lash Mascara: The GO TO everyday mascara.  Great price and it is a classic!

Hair Oil: I really liked this! I was hesitant to try this over my serum but it worked really wonderfully and smelled SO amazing!

Have you tried any of these products before…. what should I try next?

Hi everyone I am back at it with another empties products review! Enjoy!

Alba Botanica Foaming Cleanser:

I LOVED this stuff! It worked really well on my skin and I hardly ever had a break out with it.  I am obsessed with this product line and ordering more soon!

Clinque Clarifying Lotion:

Not really a fan of this.  So many people love their facial line and I didn’t hate it but I didn’t like how it made my skin feel.

Revitalift:

Loved this stuff! I got it for free from Influenster but am buying another! I think it really helped with my fine lines and mama needs all the help she can get.

Elf powder:

I felt like this powder was ok.  Not a lot of coverage and had a little too much shimmer for my liking.  It worked for the cost though.

Lady Speed Stick:

Great deodorant.  After a workout I feel like the scent of the deodorant got really strong… guess it was working to cover up how bad I smell after a workout! ha!

Yes Face Lotion:

Another dud for me.  I feel like it left my face greasy.

Make up Forever Mascara:

Great mascara, I am not the biggest fan of the brush because I have smaller eyes but I make it work because I love this product!

Tarte BB Cream:

LOVE LOVE LOVE.  This stuff is great for everyday wear to not feel like you have makeup on but gives you that fresh finish.

Fun tip! Cut the top off and use a brush to get extra out.  I usually can get enough for another week or so.  Make sure to store in a ziplock bag!

St. Ives Scrub:

Always a go to scrub for me.  Love the scent and smell.

Up & Up Vitamins:

Another regular go to.  Post baby hair loss is crazy so I am still taking these to help out however I can.

What products do you think I should try next?

Here I am again to give my yay’s and nay’s on this months empty products. Let’s get started!

St. Ives Scrub + Mask

Probably one of my favorite products.  You can use it as a mask or a scrub.  It isn’t as harsh as an exfoliator as some of the other scrubs I have used.

Baby Magic Calming Baby Bath

This smells SO good.  It really is calming and helps calm Tripp down at bedtime.

L’Oreal Shampoo [and conditioner]

I used up the conditioner awhile ago [seriously who finishes their shampoo and conditioner at the same time?!] I wish I could because it drives my type-A self insane…. anyway, I love this line because it makes my hair so smooth and shiny. I have very long hair and it help keeps my hair looking healthy in between hair cuts.

Garnier Fructis Conditioner

This isn’t my favorite conditioner but I do like it.  It doesn’t smooth out my hair as much as I would hope.  It smells great though and doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy.

Happy Baby Puffs

Tripp LOVES these snack puffs when we are on the go.  There isn’t a flavor that he hasn’t love either.  I love keeping these in the car just incase he gets hungry and we don’t have anywhere to stop.

Empties #3

Hi y’all! I am here again to go through some of my used products! Enjoy!

Babyganics Shampoo+Bodywash: I can’t find the squeeze version of this anymore.  Which makes me sad because we have the pump version and I hate that it falls in the tub and gets water in it. I love the smell of this and that it rinsed clean from baby.  I tried using it as bubble bath but it left a film in the bath tub.  LOL.  I would recommend this product.

Dial Body Wash: This body wash didn’t seem drying. For those who don’t like a strong scent this would be good for you.  I like strong scents in body wash so it wasn’t my favorite. This has a great price point and it foams up really well which I like. Overall, it is a quality product for a good price.

CVS Dry Shampoo: I bought this in a pinch and it was on sale.  It works alright.  I think sometimes it can leave my hair looking a bit dull.  Also, it doesn’t seem to be as long lasting as I would like.  I usually have to reapply it throughout the day.  I would splurge on a better quality unless you are in a bind!

Matrix Smoothing Serum: This is the OLD version but I have linked the new one.  This works great but honestly I like my Paul Mitchell better only because it seems less sticky when I put the product in my hand.  I think the Matrix version is just thicker.  It helps keep my frizzy hair in line though for sure! I would recommend this.

Mac Blush: This brand is my go to for blush. This one is on it’s last leg and it busted to bits the other day so it is getting retire.  I love this color and a little goes a long way.  I think this blends well with other make up brands and the color is pretty true! Recommend!

Motrin: We have used this for fevers (as mentioned above) and for teething.  Recommend having this on hand!*

Tylenol: We had our first fever not to long ago  (as mentioned above) and this was great to rotate with Motrin.  Seemed to give our little guy some relief. Recommend having this on hand! *

I am back at it with this month’s update on my empties! And what do you know… EVERYTHING can be found at my favorite store Target!

Up & Up Diapers– LOVE these diapers.  I would say that at night I do like to go up a size though for extra protection!

Aveeno Clear Completion: Sometimes about foamy soap makes me happy.  This cleanser is gentle on skin but works! I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.  Definitely recommend.

Nature Made D3: These are vitamin D pills.  After having Tripp during my yearly lab work I was found to have a vitamin D deficiency [thanks sun-screen] so because of that I started taking these.  I have noticed that my energy and mood have improved and there is LOTS of research to show support in taking vitamin D because of the health benefits! Recommend these vitamin D pills.  Of course talk to your doctor before taking any medication!

Bio-Oil: I used this after pregnancy because after I had Tripp all of a sudden I had stretch marks. This has really helped keep my skin moisturized and the stretch marks are mostly gone and what are left are really faded.  Definitely recommend.

Crest Prohealth Advanced Toothpaste: I felt this toothpaste cleaned well.  It was not my favorite taste and the cap WOULD NOT STAY SHUT.  It drove me bananas. I would recommend a twist top Crest instead.

Empties

Hey everyone! One thing I am trying to get better about is using up the products I have before buying new things.  So I thought I would start compiling my empty products and then give feedback on what I like and didn’t like!

Nothing is off limits so these posts will cover makeup, beauty, baby, food…. and so on! Let’s get started!

gg

Physicians formula powder:  Great product.  I still lean toward lose powder because I break my pressed powders EVERYTIME.  I would still recommend this product.  It has good coverage and is great on sensitive skin.

Elf Eyeliner: LOVE LOVE LOVE this product and the price point.  And even though the container is small it lasted quite awhile! Thumbs up!

Huggies wipes: I love these wipes.  Are good at getting everything clean (both baby wise and baby mess wise) and I like that they are a little thicker. Thumbs up!

Up & Up wipes: This wipes did the job but I HATED the scent.  I would recommend unscented.

Hand Creme: Love having this on the go in my diaper bag.  They don’t have this scent [I linked a similar one] but I love how this creme feels and it seems to keep my hands soft! Thumbs up!

Bath & Body Works Soap: I LOVE their soap and I love trying different scents.  The foaming soap is my favorite but not for any particular reason.  Both of the scents were great [I also LOVE the lemon scents for the kitchen]. These soaps were one of the reasons I decided I needed to start using up product. When we moved I found about 10 half used soaps under our sinks… what can I say I like to change them with the seasons.  Thumbs up on these!

Pantene: I LOVE this shampoo [& conditioner].  Everyone always compliments how shiny and pretty my hair is when I use this.  AND IT SMELLS SO GOOD.  Thumbs up!

Babyganics Bubble Bath: This stuff smells amazing and Tripp LOVES it! Bath time was major with sleep training and playing in the bubble bath is a favorite of Tripp’s.  I think the scent also helps him relax.  Thumbs up!

Vitafusion Prenatal: Since I am still breastfeeding I take prenatal.  I love the gummies but I have had a few brands and these aren’t my favorite in taste but they still taste good.  However, for someone else they may be their favorite flavor.   Would recommend.

What are you favorite products you consistently use up?
