Sleek Sofa Set

This New Year I am challenging myself to try new things. After some research and information I found modani.com to do a piece on their furniture.  When I glanced at the site I was so excited to get started.  I have so much love for different styles and since my house is more of a country chic I thought this modern styling would be fun.

I am in no way trained to style I just like to put fun pieces together that catch my eye.  So here is what I came up with!

RoomDecor

I started with the sofa from their modern sofas collection and loved the clean lines.  From there I picked pieces that went with the silver and white or the sofa  I knew I wanted some color so I went with that through the throw pillows. My two favorite pieces I incorporated was the coat hanger (looks a little like antlers to me so I LOVE that) and the suitcase stackables to double as storage and a side table! I also like the silver cushion chest as a side ottoman for storage and extra seating!

They have so many fun choices that a really easy to intermix to customize to your style. This space really seems inviting and I would love to have friends over to hang out and drink wine in it!

Watching for Trends Part deux

Since I had such a hard time styling just one watch I decided to make it into a series! Just a reminder I found the watches featured in this series on invaluable.com’s women’s watch page! I wanted another fall look with lots of fun color and texture and this is what I put together.

Again, I wanted to find the pieces to enhance the watch all at one store and I did that today with Target!

Watching for Trends

A watch is a timeless statement piece.  A great place to find a great statement for a great deal is from invaluable.com.  From their About Us tab on their website, “Invaluable (formerly Artfact) is the world’s largest online auction marketplace of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles, and estate sales.”

The watch below from invaluable.com’s women’s watch page caught my eye and I knew I needed to style it…. but I will say I had a hard time just choosing one! I wanted a bright Fall look with lots of patten and textures.  I also wanted to stick with one major store if possible and I almost did it!  However, to find the perfect scarf to compliment the outfit I ventured to the always go-to Target! Shout out to Ann Taylor for having so many great Fall/Winter looks to choose from!

This outfit works both for work and a night out for drinks! I think ALL of these pieces could also really work into an already existing wardrobe to help keep things fresh and fun… especially the watch.

Happy Friday Ya’ll! The more I see pattern mixing the more I love it! I have been staying in a safe zone by mixing black and white stripe with leopard.  But today I wanted to show off a different combo.  Polka dots and plaid!  Let me know what you think!

30 for 30 football favorites countdown: Koozies

I LOVE koozies… They are such great souvenirs to remember fun places you have been or things you have done.  So why not make a custom koozie for your tailgate?  They are cheep, fun and such a cool thing for guest to take away (and bring back for the next game)!

Here is what I believe I am going to order from Custom Ink:
