Annabelle was on the “early” side of switching to a big girl bed and we were so sad to say goodbye to her baby room. I thought you would like to see the toddler bedroom reveal. When she climbed out we had no choice. Honestly, it went pretty easily (not AS easy as Tripp…. Who also moved to a big bed around the same age so we could have his crib…). I digress, I know we got lucky with kids that sleep in their beds fairly easily. We moved her crib down and after a few days decided we would upgrade her to a regular size bed so we could snuggle better.

We popped into a pottery barn outlet and I fell in love with THIS bed. I loved that it was daybed style but in full size. The quality is really nice and sturdy too. We were sold and at half the cost of the regular site… that basically means they were giving it to me free right?! We bought just the bed at first because thats all they had at the outlet. We were also unsure of if we would want the trundle so we waited on it.
After a trip to costco we had a mattress and were set. Annabelle transitioned easily and mom & dad can fit laying down to read her a book now. We looked at Pottery Barn and took some measurements of her room. The bed she got has several dresser options and we were hoping to find this one. After a few weeks we decided to pop back into the outlet to see if we could luck out… and we did. We found the dresser we wanted and ended up going head and getting the trundle. That way if we have guests Tripp can sleep on the trundle and guests can have his room.

The only thing we didn’t score at the outlet was the nightstand but we had checked for weeks and it was always backordered. We went ahead and just bought it at full price to finish out the set. We ended up saving so much money shopping the outlet (her bedspread and purple pillows and heart sheets are also from the outlet). If you have one in your area I definitely recommend that you check it out. I love how fun and feminine her room turned out and I think the furniture is something that will grow with her.
Did you enjoy the toddler bedroom reveal? Would you like to see more home decor?
