Our family headed on a Broken Bow Holiday. This adventure was to ring in the New Year and it was SO MUCH FUN. If you haven’t been to Broken Bow is one of our favorite little road trips to take with our family but we had never been in the winter. You can visit year round and there is so much to choose from to do.

This time around
We stayed at a new community being built called Pine Lake and it was beautiful. We specifically stayed at Copper Leaf Lodge and we loved the space, amenities and views. The clubhouse wasn’t complete but the ponds were stocked for fishing and we enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and playing lots of games in the cabin. When everything is complete they will have a 3,000sf clubhouse, restaurant, resort pool, playground, walking trails, paddleboats and three stocked fishing lakes!
We watched football and grilled steaks and one night ordered pizza from Grateful Head… its our favorite. We ventured to this cabin with one of the other families we have seen throughout this new social distancing. They are in our pod since we don’t have any family in town and neither do they.
The only places we went during the trip were to pick up pizza and groceries. Other than that we hung around the lodge and property. It was nice to get away and unplug. Enjoy our framiy.
You can tell by photos but the home was really lovely. What we loved even more is the attention to detail on items they had. In the past when we have stayed at cabins there were lots of kitchen items missing. This kitchen was fully stocked with everything (potato peeler, garlic press, griddle) we had everything we could think of which made cooking/baking SO much easier!
Have you been on a Broken Bow Holiday? When is your favorite time of year to travel?
