This year the holiday season will look a little different. Despite change doesn’t mean we won’t be able to celebrate and make magical memories. We usually create a bucket list for each season to challenge ourselves to do new and fun things. This year will be no different and I am excited to do things in new and fun ways! What is on our Holiday Bucket List
Craft time: Some of my ideas include ornament making, dot art of course and of course a few hand and foot prints.
Feed reigndeer: Aka we will leave reindeer food out (carrots) for Santas reigndeer on Christmas eve
Make a fun Snack Charcuterie Board for the kids: I do this a lot over on instagram and love sharing the creations!
Make Hot Cocoa
Have a game/puzzle night
Have a Christmas Movie Night: We will do a kids movie and then after me and the husband will watch Christmas Vacation!
Drive by Christmas Lights
Bake Holiday Cookies: We love decorating sugar cookies! What is your favorite?
Go on a Christmas Scavenger hunt like this one… I will just add some fun Holiday themed items to find.
Fill a bag of items to donate to families in need
Gather gifts for a family who may need a little extra magic
The last two are the best of all. I believe making sure you set an example for your kids and show them about giving back is very important. Additionally, My hope is that as we continue these fun holiday bucket lists certain items become fun family traditions. Finally, I love seeing Tripp’s face light up when he starts to remember the fun things we did last year and how we are doing them again! That is truly Christmas Magic.
