Y’all have loved me bringing back this series and one of the top questions I get asked about is favorite kid activities in Fort Worth. It is an every changing market but I can report we have lots of fun things around Fort Worth to do. If you missed my first Fort Worth Favorite Kids edition here it is.
Some things below are repeaters because they have grown with our family and I still recommend them as favorite kid activities in Fort Worth especially for kids similar in age to mine (almost 4 and 1)! Without further ado here are some family places we have been loving!
What we have loved lately:
Nanda Yoga: This is one of my favorite things we have tried out! They recently opened and it is a family friendly yoga studio. Open play spaces and so many types of yoga (kids, prenatal, teen and so on) make this studio a great space and such a great atmosphere with community in mind!
Altitude Trampoline Park: We love love love toddler time here! They have TWO Fort Worth Locations. One on the Fort Worth/ Keller Line and one is off 20/Bryant Irvin is SW Fort Worth.
Library: An oldie but a goodie. As the kids have grown they still love it here. We love the Benbrook Library and all of there programming. They also have a great play area even when they aren’t having classes!
Art Cowsen to Oakmont park: A fun 3 mile total walk. You can catch a big waterfall/dam, farm animals, bridges and turtles… play at the park and there are lots of rocks and sticks to be discovered.
Happy Lark: We LOVE this indoor play space! It has grown with me from one kid to two kids and saved me during the newborn/toddler days! Since Annabelle was a winter/fall baby it was a great way for Tripp to burn energy!
The zoo: A staple for us when the weather allows. We pop in ALL the time!
Play street Museum: SO much fun to be had here with lots of pretend play!
Grand Berry Theater: Free kids movies M, W, Th from 10-12! SO fun especially if you aren’t sure how your kids may do during a movie. A great way to see.
Food + Fun
Pinstripes: During the week they have kid times that are discounted prices. We love going early on Sunday for brunch and bowling with the kids. We bowl for an hour and they have $2 mimosas. It is such a fun time!
Summer Moon Coffee: I love their fun little kids area and atmosphere. It is a great area to just sit and enjoy a cup of Joe with your kiddo!
Zolis: This pizza place has an AMAZING outdoor play space so even if there is a wait there is something to do! The food is great and there is even a little ice cream window to order from after dinner (or if you just want to go and play and have a treat)! The staff was so friendly and the pizza is excellent!
BONUS SHOUT OUT:
The Playspace: Do you need a date night or just some time alone but don’t have a babysitter or family close? We love The playspace for drop in daycare! It is super fun and the staff is amazing with kiddos! There are SO many fun activities for kids to do there so they burn great energy too! There are two locations now too so Aledo friends you are covered too!
What areas do you love in Fort Worth? Where do we need to explore? What are you vorite Kid activities in Fort Worth?
