I’ve started to notice in some of the blogger groups I am in that influencers are struggling with brand negotiation. I have posted before about how to pitch brands. However, I think there is a step beyond that that not many people cover and that is the tough negotiation .Not knowing how to word emails to sound professional, nice but also to help bring a message that our work is worth something. So I am bringing you beyond the brand pitch on this tips and tricks Tuesday!
I don’t know about you all but 2020 is the year of ROI for me. I am really reflecting on brands I loved working with and reaching out to new brands I already love. I want my content to be better, to be more meaningful. That means not taking on free product exchanges unless it is something that really blows me away. Pro tip: I usually tell brands I’d love to accept items to try but that I don’t guarantee posts for gifted product. That way if I am blown away I can post and if not I don’t feel pressured too. This is also a great way to build your content calendar out.
