Can you believe our little Annabelle is one already? I feel like I was just sharing her birth story with you all! When we were scheduling her big party it ended up falling near Halloween…. so I knew I wanted to do a fun halloween theme and let kiddos wear their halloween costumes. Check out below how we threw a First Birthday Party Halloween Style!

After looking all over Pinterest I decided to do a “Our Little Ghoul” is turning one! I made the invites in Canva. A halloween theme also allowed kiddos to get another chance to wear their costumes which is so fun to see! Especially, since the attendees weren’t friends we would be trick or treating with!

Decorations made easy
Honestly, throwing a Halloween themed party was so easy. Every store had decorations and I just showed up at Target and picked out readymade cupcakes the day before the party. #honestmomtruth. I always try to do a big spread of fruits, veggies, chips, dip, fruit snacks and pouches so that everyone has a little something to munch on. To make life easy we got pizza for lunch. We also provided beverages for the adults 😉 and juice boxes and water bottles.
I knew there would be several toddlers in attendance and since the weather was AMAZING. I set up some activity stations outside.
We also found these cute cups at Hobby Lobby and used them as party favors and they doubled as some extra decor. I figured doing a non sweet gift was a good idea since kids are loaded up during this holiday lol!
We had such an amazing time celebrating our little ghoul! Everyone had a blast an Annabelle LOVED the icing on her cupcake. Having a First Birthday Party Halloween Style was seriously so much fun and we loved seeing all the kiddos dressed up.
