Hi y’all! I am back at it with another Fort Worth Favorites posts! This one is gears all towards families but specifically those of you with toddlers like me! Some of these I have mentioned in other post before but I wanted to put a comprehensive list together for all things kiddo!
Free/cheap meals & Food
McAlister’s: Kids meals are under $4 and most days after 4pm are 99 cents with a purchase of an adult entree!
Original Pancake House– Free mini pancakes while you wait for your food!
Blu Mesa Brunch: Kids 5 and under are FREE and the food is amazing!! They have several locations too!
Firehouse Subs: One free kids meal for every adult meal purchased– day and time varies by the location.
Whole Foods: You get a free piece of fruit and they have story time Tuesday at 10am!
Favorite play spaces/ activities
Library: My personal favorite is the Benbrook Library. They have a great play area and Story Times. Their story times are broken down by different age groups. They also have a TON of other fun actives throughout the week!
The Playspace: This is such a wonderful drop in “play care”! Lots of fun activities and you can drop in when you want! SO great for doctors appointments or when you just need a manicure!
Barnes and Noble Story Time- I think it varies by location but ours is Fridays at 10!
Happy Lark: One of our favorite indoor play areas! It is great during those hot summer months. They also have story time and music time!
SeaQuest: Lots of fun to explore at this aquarium!
Flight Deck & Pump it UP: They both have a toddler jump class.
Celebrations: A SUPER fun open play space for littles!
Parks: Castle Park is our favorite: Lots of equipment to play on for all ages and there is a pond! But we also love Z Boaz, Rolling Hills and Skyline Ranch.
Lone Star Gym: Open play on Friday Nights!
Fort Worth Zoo: Our favorite spot to explore on nice days in the Fort.
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History: Endless possibilities but Tripp loves the play grocery area!
Z Boaz Park: This is a small quaint park that we love to pop in and swing at. It is clean and surrounded by trees!
